Office of the Refugee Applications Commissioner (ORAC)
On the commencement of the International Protection Act 2015 on 31 December 2016, the Office of the Refugee Applications Commissioner (ORAC) was abolished and responsibility for the investigation of applications for international protection has been transferred to a the International Protection Office (IPO) within the Irish Naturalisation and Immigration Service.
